Silicone adhesive is mainly used for silicone tube, silicone plate, silicone shaped strip, silicone foam plate, silicone day type strip (sealing strip) and other silicone adhesion, adhesion of silicone products high strength, silicone is not brittle, not white, good resilience and other advantages.
The use of silicone adhesive:
Because the silicone adhesive is (deacidified) cured by the moisture in the air, the curing speed is slow, and the glue will have a slight odor (odorless after full curing) to pass the FDA certification. Small area glue about 30 minutes of initial solid (mobile products) 24 hours of complete curing (side test bonding strength).
1, silicone products
(1) : First apply the glue to the silicone surface to be bonded (a large area can be scraped evenly with a scraper).
(2) : Press the two silicone surfaces that are coated well to be glued together.
(3) : Put the pressed silicone products in a flat place, the pressed silicone products as far as possible not to bend, so as not to make the done silicone products change, conditions allow the best use of fixture shaping.
2, silicone tube and shaped strip
(1) : The bonding of the silicone tube and the shaped strip needs to be positioned with a fixture, and the fixture can be panasonic after the initial setting of the adhesive (generally in 30 minutes to about an hour, the specific time needs to be customized).
(2) : gluing method: First squeeze a small amount of glue onto a flat surface (such as: steel plate, tile, acrylic plate) with a knife to scrape (pay attention to maintain a certain thickness) and then the silicone strip to be glued to one end of the scraped glue press the surface to leave a layer of glue, and then butt with the other end of the fixture fixed, such as glue surface dry can be removed from the fixture for the next process. The coated glue should be bonded as soon as possible, it is best to stick while coating, to prevent the adhesion strength from being affected after the surface curing for too long.
